Blake Middleton

Blake Middleton, FAIA, LEED AP, is a Partner at Handel Architects in New York, where he focuses on hybrid mixed-use buildings as catalysts for sustainable urban neighborhoods. He holds a Bachelor of Architecture and a Master of Architecture in Urban Design from Cornell University. His recent work includes Harmony Commons at the University of Toronto Scarborough, the largest Passive House building in Canada; The House at Cornell Tech, which was the world's largest and tallest certified Passive House project at completion; and Millennium Tower Boston, a 1.4-million-square-foot mixed-use tower incorporating the renovation of Daniel Burnham's landmark Filene's Building. Earlier work includes revitalization projects in Boston's Theater District and the renovation of the Santa Barbara Bowl Amphitheater. He is a Fellow of the AIA.
