Bryan Young is founder and principal of Young Projects, the Gowanus, Brooklyn studio he established in New York City in 2010, working across residences, interiors, and material research such as cast concrete and gradient brick. He holds a Master of Architecture with distinction from Harvard's Graduate School of Design (2003), where he received the AIA Henry Adams Medal, and a B.A. with highest honors from UC Berkeley (1997). Before founding his studio he was a senior associate at Allied Works Architecture and earlier worked at Architecture Research Office, SOM, and Peter Pfau. Young Projects received the Architectural League Prize in 2013 and a Progressive Architecture Award for Glitch House in 2018. He teaches at Cooper Union's Irwin S. Chanin School of Architecture.
