Carmi Bee, FAIA, is a co-founder of New York firm RKTB Architects, which traces to Bernard Rothzeid Partners, founded in 1963. He joined the firm in 1965, became a partner in 1981, and now serves as Principal Emeritus. His work includes the Manhattan conversion Turtle Bay Towers, 455 Central Park West, the Eagle Warehouse in Brooklyn, and Memphis Downtown apartments in Greenwich Village. Bee helped develop the Affordable Infill Prototype, an award-winning affordable-housing model adopted nationwide, and was consulted by the National Endowment for the Arts on artist live-work spaces.
