Partner at Diller Scofidio + Renfro

Charles Renfro is a partner at Diller Scofidio + Renfro, which he joined in 1997 and was made partner of in 2004. A graduate of Rice University and Columbia University's GSAPP, he previously worked at Smith-Miller + Hawkinson Architects and Ralph Appelbaum Associates. At DS+R he has led the Tianjin Juilliard School, Zaryadye Park in Moscow, and academic buildings for Stanford, UC Berkeley, Brown, and the University of Chicago. He received the 2015 Texas Medal of Arts and was named a National Academy Academician in 2014, and has taught at Columbia, Parsons, and the School of Visual Arts.
