Danny Kaplan is a ceramicist and founder of Danny Kaplan Studio, producing hand-built and wheel-thrown lighting and sculptural furniture, including the stacked ceramic-and-wood Brick Collection, alongside pieces in plaster and plaster-coated steel. His forms draw on Etruscan pottery and midcentury design. The studio's production is based in Brooklyn, with a showroom and loft at 417 Lafayette Street in Manhattan, and all pieces are made to order, including custom ceramic-inlay configurations.
