David Howell is President of DHD Architecture & Interior Design, which he founded in New York in 1995 after working with Clodagh Design International. A native of New Zealand with a Bachelor of Architecture (Hons.) from the University of Auckland, he is a registered architect in New York and New Zealand and a member of the AIA and the New Zealand Institute of Architects. His portfolio spans landmark building restorations, loft conversions, offices, restaurants, retail, and private residences, blending American architectural traditions with the indoor-outdoor, relaxed design sensibility of New Zealand and Australia; his work has been published and exhibited internationally.
