Dustin John

Dustin John is a self-taught fabricator and co-founder of Arcana, a metal-and-wood furniture and lighting studio operating out of a 5,000-square-foot shop in Ridgewood, Queens. He established the business as a custom metal fabrication studio in 2014, drawing on a background in landscape architecture, and in 2018 partnered with fabricator Jack Eriksson to launch Arcana's in-house furniture and lighting line. The studio's angular, architecturally influenced pieces are built around material sourcing as a central design principle.
