Elaine Molinar is a founding partner of Snøhetta's New York studio and serves as Partner and Managing Director for the Americas, leading general management, strategic planning and business development. She began her career on Snøhetta's Alexandria Library competition entry and helped found the New York office in 2005 after the firm won the National September 11 Memorial Museum Pavilion commission. She is an AIA member, a LEED accredited professional, and sits on the Van Alen Institute board of trustees.
