Etienne Gillabert

Etienne Gillabert is a Project Director at L'Observatoire International, the New York-based lighting design firm, where he has worked since 1999. Based in Lausanne, Switzerland, he studied architecture at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (EPFL). His project work spans hospitality, retail, transportation, cultural and residential design across France, Switzerland, the United States, Asia, and the Netherlands, including collaborations on the Pont du Gard with artist James Turrell, the Abbaye de Fontevraud with Agence Jouin Manku, and Under One Roof with Kengo Kuma and Associates.
