Founder at Yabu Pushelberg

George Yabu is co-founder of the interior design studio Yabu Pushelberg, based in New York and Toronto. He met Glenn Pushelberg while both were students at Ryerson University's School of Interior Design, graduating in 1976, and the two founded Yabu Pushelberg in 1980. The studio's early work included Toronto's Monsoon Restaurant, winner of a James Beard Award, and it has since been recognized on the AD100 Hall of Fame and Elle Decor A-List. Yabu was appointed an Officer of the Order of Canada and inducted into the Interior Design Hall of Fame.
