Hajime Tanimura

Hajime Tanimura is a Principal at PEI Architects in New York, which he joined in 1997. He has served as project architect on buildings including the Suzhou Museum in China, the Embassy of the People's Republic of China in Washington, D.C., the Bank of China Head Office in Beijing, and the Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center, and more recently a museum and research center in Brunei and the new China Institute headquarters in New York. Early in his career he was mentored by I. M. Pei.
