Hannah Bigeleisen

Founder and designer of her eponymous Brooklyn studio, based in Williamsburg, creating sculptural furniture and lighting informed by a background in sculpture. Founded in 2020, the practice has shown work at Brooklyn Designs, Collectible Design, and ICFF, with pieces featured in Domino, Architectural Digest, Vogue, and Interior Design magazine. Studio visits are by appointment only. Bigeleisen works in materials including papier-mache, gypsum, cast polyurethane, aluminum, and cement; her ARCHI lamp series pairs painted papier-mache bases with hand-dyed, hand-knotted silk fringe shades, and her Blob sconces were developed with designer Robert Sukrachand and debuted at ICFF.
