Henry Smith-Miller

Henry Smith-Miller is a Principal and co-founder of Smith-Miller + Hawkinson Architects, the New York firm he established with Laurie Hawkinson in 1982. He began his career as the first employee of Michael Graves, Architect, then spent seven years at Richard Meier's office before starting his own practice. The firm's projects include the Corning Museum of Glass, the Wall Street Ferry Terminal at Pier 11, U.S. Land Port of Entry facilities on the Canadian border, and the Louise Nevelson Plaza redevelopment. He holds a BA in Art History and Architecture from Princeton University and an M.Arch with Honors from the University of Pennsylvania, and is an Adjunct Professor at Pratt Institute.
