Ian Collings

American sculptor and designer based in Ojai, California, who trained in industrial design at Pratt Institute in Brooklyn and co-founded the furniture studio Fort Standard in 2011 before leaving in 2018 to focus on sculpture. Collings hand-works stone -- onyx, marble, travertine, granite, and limestone -- into furniture, lighting, and sculptural objects influenced by natural forms; his work is represented in New York by The Future Perfect gallery.
