James Koster is principal and founder of James Koster Architect, PLLC, a residential and commercial architecture practice based in Brooklyn. Before founding his own firm he spent ten years at a mid-sized New York City practice, working on projects including a condominium-resort development in Telluride, Colorado. He holds a Master of Architecture from Princeton University, an Advanced Professional Certificate in Real Estate Development from NYU, and a Bachelor of Design from the University of Pennsylvania. He is a registered architect in New York and Illinois and an adjunct professor at Parsons School of Design.
