James R. Braddock

James R. Braddock, FAIA, LEED AP, is a Partner at Mitchell Giurgola Architects in New York, specializing in laboratories and other technically complex facilities. He joined the firm in 1982 after studying under Romaldo Giurgola at Columbia University and became partner in 1996. His portfolio includes work for Columbia University, NYU, Rockefeller University, Stony Brook University, the University at Buffalo, the University of Connecticut, Brooklyn College, and the New York Botanical Garden. He was elevated to the AIA College of Fellows in 2020 and teaches laboratory design at the University of Wisconsin.
