James Slade
ArchitectFounding Principal at SLADE ARCHITECTURE
James Slade, FAIA, IIDA, LEED-AP, is co-founder and principal, with Hayes Slade, of Slade Architecture, established in 2002 in New York. His practice has completed projects in the United States, England, Korea, and China, recognized in over 300 publications and by a NYC Design Excellence in Public Architecture Award, Progressive Architecture Awards, and AIA awards, with work exhibited at MoMA, the National Building Museum, and the Venice Biennale. He co-authored NYC HPD's affordable-housing design guidelines and has taught at Parsons, Syracuse, Columbia, and Pratt. He holds a BA from Cornell University and an MArch from Columbia University.
