Jane Sanders is Associate Principal and Director of Sustainability at Henson Architecture in New York. A registered architect and Certified Passive House Designer, she ran her own urban residential firm for more than 15 years before joining Henson, and previously specialized in historic preservation and adaptive reuse at Jan Hird Pokorny Associates. Her projects include the restoration of the Brooklyn Historical Society and several Passive House retrofits in Brooklyn. She has received the Lucy G. Moses Preservation Award and a Preservation League of New York State award, among others.
