Janet Olmsted Cross

Janet Olmsted Cross, AIA, is Principal of Cross Architecture and a New York State-licensed architect and design-build general contractor with more than 20 years of experience. Earlier in her career she worked with architect Steven Holl from 1990 to 1996 on the Kiasma museum in Helsinki and the Cranbrook Institute of Science addition, and has collaborated since 1988 with artist James Turrell on the Roden Crater project in Arizona. She has served as architect for the Whitney Museum, the Bronx Public Library, and Vienna's MAK Museum of Applied Arts, and is a great-great-granddaughter of Central Park designer Frederick Law Olmsted.
