Jing Liu

Jing Liu is a principal architect at Solid Objectives Idenburg Liu (SO–IL), an architecture studio with offices in New York and Amsterdam founded in 2008. With over 15 years of practice, Liu leads projects ranging from cultural institutions and civic spaces to residential and educational facilities. Her work engages with socio-political issues in contemporary cities through collaborations with artists and cultural institutions, exemplified by projects like the Artists Loft in North Omaha and the Martin Luther King, Jr. Library in Cleveland. Liu brings an intellectually open, globally aware, and locally sensitive perspective to architecture, combining digital technology with traditional craft to create spaces of exchange and interpretation.
