Joe Franchina

Joe Franchina is an associate principal in the New York office of Adjaye Associates, where he has led local and international projects across a range of building types. His work includes the Smithsonian National Museum of African American History and Culture in Washington, D.C., the Sycamore & Oak Interim Retail Pavilion on the St Elizabeth Campus in Washington, D.C., the Princeton University Art Museum, the West Heating Plant residential development in Georgetown, and earlier projects such as Rivington Place and the Bernie Grant Performing Arts Centre in London, the British Pavilion at the 2003 Venice Art Biennale, and the Sifang Art Museum Light Box in Nanjing. He sits on the firm's Design Excellence Board and is a member of the American Institute of Architects, registered to practice in New York.
