John Bjornen

John Bjørnen founded Bjørnen Design in Sag Harbor in 2001. The firm creates authentic and aspirational homes with a mission to make houses feel like home through what they call Aesthetic Therapy. After earning a BA from Vassar College in Sociology and Art History, Bjørnen built an extensive career in fashion and art, holding creative positions at Ralph Lauren, Gap, Abercrombie & Fitch, Peter Arnell, and Livet Reichard. The firm specializes in residential design across multiple regions, with a holistic approach that considers architecture, interiors, landscape, and art. Bjørnen lives between Sag Harbor, NY and Sonoma, CA.
