John W. Gassett

John W. Gassett, AIA, is a Principal at Shope Reno Wharton Associates in New York, where he has served since 2006 after joining the firm in 1996. He holds a degree in Building Construction from Wentworth Institute, studied art at Rhode Island College, and earned an architecture degree from Cornell University. Before practicing architecture in Switzerland, Philadelphia, Boston, and New York, he worked as a builder and crewed yachts in the South Pacific. He is licensed in Massachusetts, Connecticut, Pennsylvania, Vermont, and Utah.
