John Woelfling

John Woelfling, FAIA, LEED AP, CPHT, is a Partner at Dattner Architects who leads the firm's mixed-use residential work and specializes in sustainable, resource-efficient design, including Passive House projects. His experience spans education, recreation, healthcare, and infrastructure work, and he speaks on affordable housing and sustainability at venues including the Center for Architecture, AIA NYS, Urban Green, GreenBuild, and the PHIUS Passive House Conference. He was elevated to the AIA College of Fellows in 2024 and named a Crain's Notable Leader in Sustainability in 2023. He holds a Bachelor of Architecture from Virginia Tech.
