Jorge Mastropietro

Jorge Mastropietro is principal and founder of JMA - Jorge Mastropietro Architects Atelier, a minority-owned firm based in New York and Buenos Aires. Born and trained in Buenos Aires, Argentina, he studied architecture there and later earned a master's degree in urban design in Europe before working five years with Rafael Vinoly Architects in New York on large international projects. He founded JMA in 2007, focusing on architecture, urban design, development, and Passive House methods. He is a registered architect in Argentina and the United States and a member of the AIA.
