
Joseph Brancato

Joseph Brancato, FAIA, NCARB, is Regional Managing Principal for Gensler's Northeast and Latin America region, overseeing offices in New York, Boston, Morristown, and Toronto and chairing the firm's Executive Committee; he previously chaired Gensler's Board of Directors and helped start its Latin American region. He holds bachelor's degrees in Architecture and Urban Studies from the University of Maryland, where he has also taught studio courses, and is a registered architect in 23 U.S. states and three Canadian provinces. He speaks widely on the future of cities and office buildings, sits on the Urban Design Forum board and University of Miami's architecture school advisory council, and helped shape Gensler's gConnect mentorship program.
