Joseph D. Tanney

Joseph D. Tanney, FAIA, is a Founder and Partner of Resolution: 4 Architecture (RES4) in New York. Born in Chicago in 1961, he worked at Gwathmey Siegel and Associates and Eisenman Robertson Architects before founding RES4. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Architecture and a Master of Architecture from Ohio State University, and completed a professional development program at Harvard's Graduate School of Design. He is a Visiting Distinguished Professor at City College of New York and was elevated to the AIA College of Fellows in 2020.
