Founder, Gibson Design at Love House

Maine-based sculptor and furniture designer who studied sculpture at Pratt Institute and trained in bronze casting at the Johnson Atelier foundry. Through his studio, Gibson Design, he produces solid cast-bronze furniture and objects alongside gallery sculpture, with past commissions for Peter Marino Architects, Chanel, and Maya Lin. Before turning to metalwork, Gibson worked in New York as a fine-art photography printer, apprenticing under photographer Neil Selkirk. His sculpture, in bronze, cast glass, and carved wood, has been exhibited at the University of Maine Museum of Art's I-95 Triennial, the Center for Maine Contemporary Art, the Ogunquit Museum of American Art, and Corey Daniels Gallery and Page Gallery in Maine. His work is represented in New York by Love House.
