Juergen Riehm

Juergen Riehm, FAIA, BDA, co-founded 1100 Architect in 1983 with David Piscuskas and serves as founding principal of the Manhattan-based firm. He holds a Diploma in Architecture from FH Rheinland-Pfalz and a postgraduate architecture degree from the Stadelschule Academy of Fine Arts, and sits on the advisory board of the Stadelschule Alumni foundation. Projects guided under his leadership include the Queens Central Library's Children's Library Discovery Center, the New York Public Library's Battery Park City Branch, the Irish Hunger Memorial, and the Naha City Gallery and Apartment Building in Japan. He is a member of the Chamber of Architects of Hessen and the Bund Deutscher Architekten.
