Kai Williams

Brooklyn-based industrial designer who co-founded the studio Chen Chen & Kai Williams in 2011 with Chen Chen after the two met studying industrial design at Pratt Institute. Working from a shared Brooklyn workshop equipped for cement casting, stone polishing, resin work, and metalwork, the pair produce avant-garde furniture, functional objects, and decorative pieces. Their collectible work is represented in New York by The Future Perfect.
