Karen Brandt

Karen Brandt, AIA, is a Principal at Heintges Consulting Architects & Engineers, a New York building-envelope consulting firm she joined in 2001. She launched and now leads the firm's San Francisco office, opened in 2013, and has managed facade projects in the U.S. and Asia focused on museums, cultural institutions, complex towers, and luxury-retail buildings. She has taught at Pratt Institute and Parsons School of Design, and holds degrees in architecture from the College of Environmental Design at U.C. Berkeley and the Harvard University Graduate School of Design.
