Karen Fairbanks

Karen Fairbanks, FAIA, is a founding partner of Marble Fairbanks Architects in New York, where she focuses on the design and planning of public and private educational and cultural buildings, bringing particular expertise in library design. She serves on the American Library Association's Committee for Buildings for College and University Libraries and holds the Claire Tow Professorship at Barnard College, where she chairs the Architecture Department.
