Laura Heim

Laura Heim, FAIA, LEED AP, is founder and principal of Laura Heim Architect PLLC in New York, established in 2006 after working at several Manhattan firms. Her practice focuses on historic preservation and adaptive reuse, including the New York State Capitol Assembly Spaces renovation, which received an AIA New York State Award of Merit in Design. She holds a B.S. in Architecture from the University of Virginia and a Master of Architecture from Columbia University. Heim was elevated to the AIA College of Fellows in 2018 and has taught architectural design and history at institutions including Pratt Institute.
