Leena Similu

Los Angeles-based ceramic artist working in sculptural, clay-based forms that explore identity, heritage, and motherhood, drawing on her mother's Cameroonian lineage and West African traditions. London-born, Similu previously worked as a fashion designer for Jil Sander and Stella McCartney before turning to ceramics. Her work has been featured in The New York Times and Vogue, and is represented in New York by The Future Perfect.
