Marc Tsurumaki

Marc Tsurumaki, AIA, is a principal of LTL Architects, a New York City architecture firm he co-founded in 1997 with Paul Lewis and David J. Lewis. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Architecture from the University of Virginia and a Master of Architecture from Princeton University. He is Professor of Professional Practice and directs the MArch program at Columbia University's Graduate School of Architecture, Planning and Preservation, and served as President of the Board of Storefront for Art and Architecture from 2019 to 2025. LTL's work has received the Cooper-Hewitt National Design Award, AIA New York State Firm of the Year (2019), and induction into the Interior Design Hall of Fame; recent projects include Poster House in New York and the Helen R. Walton Children's Enrichment Center in Bentonville, Arkansas.
