Mark Thaler

Mark Thaler, FAIA, is a Principal and global co-leader of Gensler's Education practice, based in the firm's New York office, with more than 30 years of experience designing learning environments spanning K-12 through higher education. His projects have received an AIA Committee on Architecture for Education Award of Merit and an AIA New York State Citation for the Hajjar STEM Center; the D'Angelo Center at St. John's University won honors from the Society of American Registered Architects, the Queens Chamber of Commerce, and the Brick Institute of America. He was elevated to the AIA College of Fellows and sits on the National Board of Schools That Can.
