Marvin H. Meltzer, AIA, NCARB, is a principal of Meltzer/Mandl Architects, P.C. in New York, a firm he has led since 1995. Over a career spanning four decades, he has focused on diverse housing models, particularly affordable and low-income developments for nonprofit organizations, alongside market-rate residential, community, educational, and cultural/religious projects. His signature project, Melrose Court, a high-density low-rise affordable condominium development in the Bronx, received a 1994 Pillars of the Industry Award for best multifamily project nationally. He also received a 2002 Lifetime Achievement Award recognizing his contributions to architecture in New York City.
