Founder, Mary Wallis Studio at The Future Perfect

New York-based lighting designer working from a Chelsea studio she established in 2012. Trained at Parsons and Pratt Institute after an earlier career in genetics research, Wallis produces chandeliers, pendants, and table lamps in brass and hand-cut glass, layering historical references with custom, made-to-order detailing. She previously worked as a senior designer for Lindsey Adelman's studio before launching her own line, now carried in New York by The Future Perfect.
