Michael D. Flynn

Michael D. Flynn, FAIA, is Partner Emeritus at Pei Cobb Freed & Partners in New York, recognized as one of the world's leading authorities on curtain wall design and technology. He oversaw building enclosures for the firm from 1989 to 2023, directing an in-house team on facade design and detailing across more than 100 executed projects, including 7 Bryant Park, the David H. Koch Center, and Palazzo Lombardia. He holds a BArch from The Catholic University of America and an MArch from the University of Illinois, and has taught at Illinois, Cornell, and Harvard.
