Michael Gabellini

Michael Gabellini, FAIA, is founding partner and creative director of Gabellini Sheppard Associates in New York, a firm he established in 1991. He holds degrees in Architecture and Art from the Rhode Island School of Design and is a registered architect in New York, Florida, and Nevada. His portfolio spans residential, retail, cultural, and urban planning projects, including preservation work on Rockefeller Center's Top of the Rock and the Rainbow Room. He originated the firm's "Spatial Branding" design methodology, has won the Progressive Architecture Award and the Cooper-Hewitt National Design Award for Interior Design, and was inducted into the Interior Design Hall of Fame.
