Michele Oka Doner

New York artist working from a SoHo, Manhattan studio, whose practice spans sculpture, functional objects, and public art rooted in the study of natural forms. A University of Michigan-trained sculptor best known for "A Walk on the Beach," a 1.25-mile bronze and terrazzo installation at Miami International Airport seen by roughly 40 million travelers a year, Oka Doner's smaller-scale objects and editions are represented in New York by Superhouse gallery.
