Co-Founder at Calico Wallpaper

Nick Cope co-founded Calico Wallpaper with his wife Rachel in 2012, launching the studio from their loft in Red Hook, Brooklyn. Calico designs bespoke wallpapers that translate techniques such as suminagashi and ebru marbling into large-scale digital patterns, often in collaboration with artists and designers. The Copes now live and work primarily from a studio in New York's Hudson Valley, while Calico continues to operate an appointment-only showroom on Lispenard Street in Manhattan.
