Nick Spain is the founder of Studio Nick Spain (formerly Arthur's, 2018-2024), a design firm creating interiors and gardens in New York City, the Berkshires, and the Hudson Valley. He trained in landscape design with a Certificate in Horticulture from the Brooklyn Botanic Garden and studied interior architecture and furniture design at Pratt and Parsons after earlier work in editorial, art, and fashion. His collaborative, research-driven approach honors the spirit and history of older homes while updating them for contemporary living, and his work has been featured in Architectural Digest, The New York Times, and Vogue.
