Peter Coombs, AIA, LEED AP, is a registered architect with more than 35 years of experience and co-founder, in 1977, of Siris Coombs Architecture, based in Windsor Terrace, Brooklyn. He specializes in the restoration and modern integration of historic buildings and has worked extensively with the New York City Landmarks Preservation Commission, with notable projects including the Clarendon Penthouse and a 64th Street townhouse. He also works in sustainable building systems such as geothermal heating, solar power, and greywater recovery, and has taught as an adjunct professor at the New York Institute of Technology at Westbury.
