Piet Hein Eek

Piet Hein Eek is a Dutch designer (b. 1967) who has run his studio and factory in Eindhoven, the Netherlands, since graduating from Design Academy Eindhoven in 1990. Known for furniture, lighting, and objects made from reclaimed scrapwood and metal, his operation now occupies a former Philips factory site that includes a shop, restaurant, hotel, and gallery alongside the workshop. His work is represented in New York by The Future Perfect.
