Rahee Yoon

Seoul, South Korea-based designer and artist working across metal, textile, ceramic, and wood crafts. Yoon opened her studio in 2017 and has spent years researching acrylic as a primary medium, producing handmade pieces in collaboration with specialized engineers and small workshops throughout Korea. Her work is represented in New York by The Future Perfect. Yoon's acrylic pieces apply ottchil, a traditional Korean lacquer technique, to the material, the product of more than eight years of research into acrylic's properties. Her work was included in The Future Perfect's group exhibition of contemporary Korean design in New York and was shown at Design Miami in 2023.
