Richard Haining

Brooklyn-based artist and studio furniture maker known for a signature STACKED process that hand-assembles thousands of small salvaged wood pieces into tables, vessels, mirrors, and lighting. Raised in Atlanta and trained at the Rhode Island School of Design, Haining has worked from Brooklyn since 2008, sourcing reclaimed wood from NYC woodshop offcuts and pre-war building lumber. His work has been exhibited from New York to Seoul, and he received the James Renwick Alliance's Award of Excellence for Innovation in Craft.
