Founding Partner at COOKFOX Architects

Rick Cook co-founded COOKFOX Architects with Bob Fox in 2003 after earlier founding Richard Cook & Associates in 1992. He earned a Bachelor of Architecture cum laude from Syracuse University in 1983 and received the Norman J. Wiedersom Traveling Fellowship to study in Florence. Cook is known for the Bank of America Tower at One Bryant Park, the first commercial high-rise to earn LEED Platinum certification, and for the firm's biophilic, sustainability-focused design approach. In 2006 he co-founded the environmental consultancy Terrapin Bright Green with Bob Fox and Bill Browning.
