Riikka Piippo

Riikka Piippo is a Helsinki-based ceramic and object designer represented in New York by The Future Perfect. She handbuilds vessels using coiling and slab techniques and develops her own metal-oxide glazes to achieve matte, earthy surfaces, drawing on archetypal vessel forms and botanical imagery. A graduate of Aalto University, her Epitome series has been shown at Lokal Gallery and during Helsinki Design Week.
