Russell Greenberg co-founded Stickbulb in 2012 with Christopher Beardsley, growing the lighting brand out of RUX, the pair's architecture-trained multidisciplinary studio founded in 2008. Stickbulb designs and hand-builds modular LED fixtures — including chandeliers, sconces, pendants, and portable lights — from wood and metal reclaimed from NYC demolition sites, dismantled water towers, and fallen urban trees. Product lines include Pillar, Pleat, Chime, Bough, and the architectural Treeline system, alongside custom commissions; the company is B Corp certified and a Climate Neutral partner. Stickbulb is relocating from its 10,000-square-foot Long Island City studio, showroom, and workshop to a larger, 27,300-square-foot space across two buildings at the MADE Bush Terminal campus in Sunset Park, Brooklyn.
